The State of Psychedelics at CIIS is a series of talks that explores the forefront of thought and research into psychedelic-assisted therapies.
Leaders in the expanding entheogenic field present cutting edge research on the legal use of psychedelics. This series exists at the intersection of consciousness, psychology, medicine, clinical research, religious studies, and anthropology. You’re invited to learn more about the world of psychedelic research and integration where you’ll meet others interested in the work.


This series is offered in association with the Center for Psychedelic Therapies and Research.

Psychedelic Therapy: A Treatment in Search of a Disorder with Jeffrey Guss on April 9

Nearly Half a Century Studying Psychedelics with David Nichols on April 30

Bitter Brews and Other Abominations: A Pharmacognostic Survey of Mind-altering Natural Substances with Dennis McKenna on May 19
Cautionary Tales: MDMA & MDA in Psychotherapy with Richard Yensen and Donna Dryer on June 14

Sacred Knowledge: Psychedelics and Religious Experiences with William Richards on June 24
