An Evening with Gabor Maté: From the Stress-Disease Connection to Psychedelic Therapy

Listen to renowned writer and researcher Dr. Gabor Maté speak about his life and work as a medical doctor and his experience with psychedelic therapy. Borrowing from twelve years of professional experience in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside, Dr. Maté uses research and personal insight to bring the topic of psychedelic therapy to a broad audience, and paints a complete picture of therapeutic use of psychedelic plants for people who might be interested in its benefits. Dr. Maté is known for his expertise in the fields of addiction, stress, and child development, and has published several book including In the Realm of Hungry Ghosts: Close Encounters with Addiction; When the Body Says No: The Cost of Hidden Stress; and Scattered Minds: A New Look at the Origins and Healing of Attention Deficit Disorder.
